Are pets worth it?

When I was growing up we were banned from having pets, the excuse from my parents was that five children was enough to be dealing with. I always used to think this was unfair, unreasonable and just plain untrue. Then I joined the world of adulthood and got my own pets.… Read more

Baby book to make you smile

As I have mentioned before, I was lucky enough to go to BritMums Live back in June, and whilst I was there I was introduced to Parragon Books. They were looking for bloggers to review various books of theirs, and as a HUGE bookworm I couldn’t resist. It was pretty crazy at BritMums Live so I just grabbed the two baby books they were offering for review, and I have finally had some time to look at them with and without our 9 month old daughter, C.… Read more

Fashion Friday – L at Chessington

How and when do you read and write blogs?

When we were on holiday recently I finally had time to indulge in one of my passions – blogging. I love reading other people’s blogs and writing my own blog posts here. For two whole weeks I had around 2 hours a day of total peace and quiet to read blogs, comment on them and write my own blog posts.… Read more

How long is 9 months?

My beautiful C is 9 months old today, which got me thinking about what 9 months means. When I found out I was pregnant with C I knew I had 9 months ahead of me, and they draaaaaggggggeeeeddddd on. (As they did during my pregnancy with L.) Every day lasted a week and it felt like I’d been pregnant forever, and still had ages left to go.… Read more
