Fashion Friday – L at Chessington

I was going to feature in my Fashion Friday post today until I looked down and saw I was wearing an outfit I’ve already posted about. Not surprising really as I have a tiny wardrobe at the moment – between needing clothes that fit my breastfeeding bigger boobs and needing items that give easy access to said boobs for feeding C, my current clothes are in a bit of a crisis.

So today I give you L. In all fairness she is far more fashion conscious and with the trends than her mum is, so it does make sense. We went to Chessington today and she put her outfit together on her own (as she does all the time as Mummy doesn’t have a clue according to her).

The pink hair extension is from Claire’s Accessories (one of her favourite shops), the rucksack is a Disney princess one although I am noticing that her interest in them is finally waning, the anchor print t-shirt was a present from Grandma, and I believe is a Sainsbury’s one, the jean skirt was picked up in Next a few months ago when bridesmaid dress shopping (very exciting forthcoming event!) in Birmingham. As for the leggings, I just looked at the label to check…..and they accidentally made their way into L’s drawer instead of C’s as they are age 9-12 months! L will be 7 in December! So I’m guessing that’s one less item for C and one extra one for L. Anyway they are Primark. The sandals are Lelli Kelly which I got for around £11 as there was a massive sale on.

Considering L put this look together herself I think she’s done pretty well. What do you think?

I’m linking up with Mummy’s Got Style’s Fashion Friday, click on the linky for other style posts…although they’re more likely to feature grown-ups!

    1. Thanks! I’m not a huge fan of the pink hair extensions, but she loves them. I now have to try and steal the baby’s leggings back!

  1. Lovely outfit, it’s the sort of thing my daughter would pull together and she’s more stylish than her Mummy too! Although I would not let her have a pink hair extension because I’m grumpy like that! ;)

    1. I really don’t like the pink hair extension but Hubs got it for her so I can’t say anything. Needless to say it gets “lost” quite often!
