How long is 9 months?

My beautiful C is 9 months old today, which got me thinking about what 9 months means. When I found out I was pregnant with C I knew I had 9 months ahead of me, and they draaaaaggggggeeeeddddd on. (As they did during my pregnancy with L.) Every day lasted a week and it felt like I’d been pregnant forever, and still had ages left to go.

Now that C is 9 months old it feels like 5 minutes ago that I gave birth to her, and each month has whizzed by at the speed of light, even faster than with L. I am a bit sad about this, but at the same time I’m loving the stage we’re at now too, and I’m loving watching our two daughters bonding so beautifully as C develops her own little personality.

To celebrate C’s 9 months on this earth, here is a summary in images of her 9 months with us:

So, am I alone? Or did your 9 months of pregnancy drag by in comparison to the first 9 months of your baby’s life?

It has been 9 magical months for the whole family, so I’m linking up to The Oliver’s Madhouse and their Magic Moments linky.

I’ve only the one baby, and I felt that my pregnancy was long. Baby girl is 9 months on Wednesday, and the months have gone by in a blink.

It’s funny how differently 9 months passes when it’s pregnancy vs having the baby with you.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, don’t like the time speeding by so much though.

Look at your gorgeous girls and I feel the same. Where has the time gone? x

Happy 9th month to the little one! Little Man is the same age and I’m with you – the pregnancy and everything since (except perhaps the sleepless nights!) has just flown by. I can hardly believe that in another 3 months they’ll both be a whole YEAR old!! x

I know! I’m not sure I’m ready for the 1 year mark yet, and I know it’s just going to come round so quickly…
