Top French kids’ brands come to England

There are various great reasons to live in England instead of France. You pay fewer taxes. You have to deal with far less bureaucracy. People are more polite. There is less dog poo everywhere. It’s easier to have a career and to get a job in general.

BUT you do miss out on some of the great things that France has to offer. Cheap and good wine. Cheese. Charcuterie. Bread. Sea and mountains (if you’re used to the French Riviera as I am). And some incredible French kids’ brands.

Whilst England does great discount shops (Hello Primark!), it doesn’t do the quality brands that France does quite as well.

However all is not lost, as a lovely French mum has seen fit to bring some top French kids’ brands to England. Huzzah! Not only that, but for once these imports are at super low prices too. Result 🙂

Tendre Deal is the brainchild of Alexandra de Faucigny, a former Marketing Manager turned mum and entrepreneur.

What exactly is Tendre Deal, I hear you ask?

It’s a members only online boutique that sells top French kids’ brands in the UK.

And how does it work?

Tendre Deal offers sales on numerous French kid’s brands, such as Le Carrousel, Frangin Frangine, La Queue du Chat, Little Cabari, Léontin, Myum, Doudou et Compagnie….

As a member you get exclusive access to all sales on products from these brands, and many more. And the beauty of Tendre Deal is that it’s free to become a member!

What’s in it for me?

Once you’ve become a member you’ll get emails inviting you to upcoming sales for affordable luxury French kids’ brands. You’ll need to be quick though as the sales only last 1 week maximum, and there is always a limited quantity of products to buy each time.

Janod space rocket – one of the great French kids’ brands coming to Tendre Deal soon

As discounts can be as much as 70% of the RRP, it really is worth signing up to be a member. Especially as these are beautiful luxury French brands that it is hard to find/can’t be found in the UK. And who doesn’t want their children to stand out for looking so chic?!? (Funnily enough, all the compliments that I get about my daughters’ clothes are when they’re wearing the clothes that my mother-in-law sends over from France.)

What type of things do Tendre Deal offer?

They have sales on high end French kids’ brands for 0-12 year olds, with the products on offer including clothing, toys, accessories and small decorations.

What do I have to do to join?

Simply visit Tendre Deal’s website and click on the button “Become a member”. Then just enter your name, email address and choose a password. It’s as simple as that! Finally sit back and wait for the sales invites to hit your inbox 🙂

These members only online boutiques are really popular in France, and I was a member of several of them when I lived there, as you could get some crazy bargains from the comfort of your sofa. So I’m delighted to see that this lovely French mum is bringing them over to the UK now.

I’m also really pleased to see some great French brands being featured by Tendre Deal, including a couple of my favourites, Doudou et Compagnie and Kaloo (photo above). These two are my go-to brands whenever a friend has a baby, their doudous (baby comforters) and soft toys are super soft and beautiful. We still have our eldest daughter’s Kaloo that she was given as a newborn (she’ll be 8 on Monday!).

I’m so excited that these high end French kids’ brands will soon be as accessible to us in England as to our friends across the channel, and for a fraction of the price too 🙂

P.S. you don’t have to be French or Franglais to enjoy what Tendre Deal has to offer, so sign up and see what all the French fuss is about!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. For those of you who are frequent readers of my blog you’ll know that I very rarely agree to sponsored posts, however I really felt like Tendre Deal was a great offering and would really appeal to a lot of my readers, so enjoy!

I just got a whole load of this year’s xmas presents for kids from them – so cheap and such lovely stuff too, I can’t recommend them enough 🙂 Ca va moi, mais débordée avec le lancement du livre bilingue pour enfants! Et toi? xx

  2. Great post Sophie, Tendre Deal is a fantastic concept and excited to see where the mama behind it takes things next! I have a strong French connection with my stepson being half-French and having French in-laws too, and I always love the gifts, toys and clothing they bring over from France. One thing I noted about the baby clothes was just how petite they all seemed to be… my boys were always chunky bubbas!! x

I have just bought tons of xmas presents from Tendre Deal – some great offers! You’re right about the diddy baby clothes in France – C is small for English clothes but big for French clothes, so you can imagine just how tiny they are xx
